About Us

Mike has been a Director at Infusion Accounting Software since 2003. In this role he is involved in a range of functions, including staff management, business development and continual product and process improvement. Prior to joining the Infusion Accounting Software team, Mike worked in a number of technical and manufacturing roles, and has significant experience and expertise in business management and strategic growth. Mike was initially drawn to Infusion Accounting Software because it was an opportunity to join a smaller sized business at the ground floor, where he could really use his skills to help the business grow. Mike enjoys helping people find solutions for their business to enable them to increase efficiencies and enhance profitability. He also gets a lot of satisfaction from helping clients find ways to run their business more efficiently.

Tim is the Managing Director and Founder of Infusion Accounting Software. Having built the company from the ground up, Tim is still actively involved in almost every aspect of the business, including sales, HR, marketing, finance, and customer management. In this way he is able to ensure customers remain at the forefront of everything they do. While Tim’s background is in accountancy, in 1993 he branched out into the IT industry, offering sales and support services for accounting solutions, NZA Gold and Aurora One. By working with his customers and understanding the market, Tim saw an opportunity to develop his own solution, with the first release of Infusion Accounting Software in 2004. Since then, Tim’s desire to help small and medium-sized businesses grow and succeed has enabled him to provide business solutions to over 3,000 sites in Australasia.

In her role as Administration Manager, Michelle is responsible for Accounts Receivable / Payable, Payroll, Central Billing for our STIHL New Zealand clients. She also organises the training courses, conferences and staff travel. Before joining Infusion Accounting Software Michelle was employed as Office Manager at a Transport Company where she gained significant experience in Administration Management.

Susan joined Infusion in May 2022 as Administration Support and Registrations. She has a strong administration background working most recently in the IT industry. Susan has also taken on the role of Soc-2 administrator helping to get Infusion certified for Soc-2 which is an American standard developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC 2 defines criteria for managing customer data based on five “trust service principles”—security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.

Alex joined Infusion Group in March 2023 to take on the Business Development role. Having been in sales in some form for the past 35 years, from IT Hardware to Cyber Security to Process Automation Software and a long stint in the printing industry, Alex brings with him a wealth of technology sales experience. Added to that, Alex has run his own scanning and data manipulation company – iScan, done a stint in Real Estate and even sold a few cars in his time. In his spare time, Alex is an active member of the Christchurch Irish Society and the Christchurch Pistol Shooting Club.

Joan joined the Infusion Accounting Software team in 2007. As Software Support Manager, Joan assists clients and other support staff with advice on how to best utilise the software, as well as trouble-shooting, report writing and testing. She also runs training courses on-site and at the Infusion Accounting Software offices in Christchurch. Joan brings with her considerable experience in software development across a range of industries, including meat processing, sales and distribution, warranty processing, insurance, book publishing, accountancy, share registry and light engineering. With a strong interest in accounting systems, Joan has completed a number of accountancy papers as part of her software training and later for interest.

Jacqui came on board with Infusion Accounting Software as Software Support Consultant at the end of 2019. With a background in Customer Service, Finance and Administration, Reporting Analysis and 24/7 Helpdesk Support over a 20+ year career with a large multi-national company, she has a broad depth of knowledge and solution-based can-do attitude. More recently, Jacqui worked at a boutique retail store where she was introduced to Infusion Accounting Software, using the Elite package. She enjoys investigating areas for business improvement and found the Elite software particularly valuable for analysis and measuring performance. Keen to get to know people and their needs, Jacqui enjoys sharing knowledge and providing support to help customers get the most out of Infusion Accounting Software for their company.

In her role as Software Support, Jude loves being able to assist clients and teach them the features of Infusion Accounting Software that will make their day-to-day life easier. As well as providing software assistance to clients over the phone and via email, she also updates and adds new resources and articles to the online Knowledge Base, takes training courses and maintains course content, provides on-site support for new STIHL sites and undertakes testing as required. Before joining Infusion Accounting Software in 2014, Jude was employed as an Office Administrator at a STIHL store, so has strong background knowledge of STIHL products.

Lisa has been part of the Infusion Accounting Software team since 2012. As a Software Consultant, Lisa’s role involves software conversions, installations, training, software testing, helping end users with accounting issues, problem-solving and general business management. One of the aspects of her role that she loves is being able to help a wide range of great people with their software and business management. Lisa brings with her significant experience in finance, and accounting and management roles including her own accounting and bookkeeping business. She also has broad experience in data collection, storage and dissemination, particularly in the health sector.

Tania joined Infusion Accounting Software in 2019. In her software support role, Tania enjoys contact with clients and helping them with their everyday use of the Infusion via phone and email. Before joining the Infusion Team, Tania was an Owner Operator of a Stihl Shop for 10 Years using all modules of Infusion Software. She brings real world business experience combined with software knowledge to the team.

Diane joined the Infusion Team at the end of March 2023 and is one of the product owners for the browser version of the Infusion Software package. With forty years in the IT industry, Diane brings a wealth of experience to Infusion. Diane has worked across a spectrum of organisations, encompassing a broad range of industry types including Retail, Finance, Manufacturing and Distribution. Her background includes consulting, business analysis and project management and commenced her working life as a developer. Diane is loving being part of the team growing Infusion’s browser solution for our Partners and Customers.

Kate has been with Infusion Software since 2017 and is now a Product Owner for the redevelopment project. After working in support, report writing and working with migrations, she has a solid foundation in the needs of Infusion customers and a drive to consistently improve the solution for our end users. Before joining the Infusion Accounting Software team, Kate was an end user of Infusion Accounting Software for over ten years in product management, IT and accounts role for a medium-sized importing and wholesale business. Her background also includes technical writing, web and database design, and developing training resources for clients in health, manufacturing and extractive industries. Kate enjoys time in the outdoors, travelling when possible, playing music and spending time with family.

Mariana joined Infusion Accounting Software team as a Software Support Consultant in 2011, bringing with her over 25 years’ experience in accounting and administrative roles across various industries in Argentina, Brazil, and New Zealand. In her current role as Team Lead – Quality Assurance in the Engineering Department, Mariana works closely with the Product team and the Development team, enjoying the challenge of constantly improving and expanding the capabilities of the software, and the immense learning experience. Her role includes designing and tracking testing scenarios for quality control of the software, including legacy applications

Kendall joined the Infusion Accounting Software team in early 2018 as a Software Support Consultant. She has recently moved to the new role of Quality Assurance Engineer, working closely with the software development teams to test new features and report on potential improvements required. It is the variety of her role that Kendall most enjoys, with opportunities to learn something new every day. Previously, Kendall worked as a Case Manager for Work and Income and then as manager of a diesel engineering company, where she first used Infusion Accounting Software. Kendall has a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology, and a Certificate in Book Keeping. As well as her work at Infusion Accounting Software, Kendall works as an independent musician writing, recording, releasing and touring her own original material.

As Senior Software Developer, Scott’s role at Infusion Accounting Software involves maintenance and development. He is always looking at ways to continually update and evolve the Infusion Accounting Software system to better meet – and anticipate – customer requirements. Scott has been with the Infusion Accounting Software team right from the very beginning. In 2004, Scott began by providing support and development of utilities for NZA Gold and Aurora One accounting systems, which eventually led to the development of the complete standalone accounting system Infusion Accounting Software. As a self-taught programmer, Scott’s key interest is coding. He previously worked for NZA Gold and MYOB as telephone support for the NZA and Aurora One product.

Stephen joined Infusion in October 2020 as a Full Stack Developer and the development Team Leader. He brings with him more than two and a half decades of software development experience and more than seven years’ experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions. Stephen has worked in many different areas of IT such as accounting, order entry, stock control, manufacturing and healthcare. He particularly likes to tackling hard to solve problems or making software perform better.

Adrien joined the Infusion Accounting Software development team mid-2018. His broad skill set and will to learn new technologies led him to be involved in the maintenance and development of many different projects for the company. Previously, Adrien worked in France as a Junior Full Stack Developer at Genapi, an e-notary software company. In his spare time, he continues to develop small pieces of software for fun and to stay current with the most recent technologies. He also has a passion for Science fiction and Fantasy.

Ethan is a recent bachelor’s graduate who joined the Infusion team in January 2022 as Full Stack Developer. He has previously worked in Service Desk roles at Harcourts and Farmlands but has been studying for the past two years finishing his Bachelor of ICT with a major in Software Engineering. For his capstone project, he worked alongside a start-up in the Orion Accelerator Program developing an innovative energy optimization and monitoring platform. He is extremely enthusiastic and excited to develop alongside the team at Infusion and learn new skills and grow his current ones. In his spare time, he produces music and DJ’s and enjoys playing video games and developing personal software projects.

Blake joined Infusion in June 2023 as a Full Stack Software Engineer. He previously worked for The Warehouse Group as a developer after graduating with a Bachelor of Information Technology. While studying, he worked as a software tester which helps him to view projects from multiple points of view. He enjoys developing and turning ideas into solutions that help customers get results. He aims to continually grow his skillset and knowledge of new technologies to be a well-rounded member of the team. His favourite part of any job is solving difficult problems through to completion. When not working, Blake can be found running long distances, exercising, or volunteering with his church.

Susan Hume joined Infusion in February 2023 and project-manages migrations to the Browser Version and testing. With a background of almost 30 years in IT, including 15 years with a major UK bank, and 5 years with the Christchurch City Council, Susan brings a wealth of experience to our team.

Joining in May 2023, Neil took on the role of Technical Writer. Having previously administered and written all internal SME support documentation at MYOB, this was an energising new challenge. As the technical writer, Neil oversees all of the help articles, creates tutorial videos and writes all of the outgoing release notes. With a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a certificate in Client support focussing on help desk support. Neil understands the importance of strong help content. He strives to produce high quality help content, to help clients make the most out of their software. Outside of work, he can be found working on writing his next novel or designing and playing board and tabletop games.
